What do CVB volunteers do?
Just as the events the Cabarrus CVB brings to the area vary, so do the assignments of the volunteers. Overall, the majority of the assignments involve meeting and greeting. Volunteers also provide support for mailing projects, assembly of convention packets and other projects as needed.
Where do volunteer activities take place?
Event locations vary. The Cabarrus CVB works closely with the Charlotte Motor Speedway, Concord Mills Mall, the Cabarrus County Arena and Events Center and the conference center at the Embassy Suites and at Great Wolf Lodge. You may be asked to work indoors or outdoors depending on the needs of the event. Mailings and special projects are often done at the CVB offices, which are located at 10099 Weddington Road, Suite 102 in Concord, NC, off of exit 49 on Interstate 85.
How do volunteers find out about upcoming opportunities?
The CVB Volunteer Coordinator will post shifts on the VolunteerBoard as opportunities arise. You will be able to search available shifts, find details on contacts, job description, location, and stay up to date on public events in the area.

Voluntourism Opportunities in Cabarrus County
Elma C. Lomax Incubator Farm
Help grow the next generation of farmers! This certified organic incubator farm located in Concord, NC, supports local, organic farming while training new farmers to help fill the void of young farmers in Cabarrus County and to meet the growing demand for locally grown food.
