Southern Grace Distilleries is the country’s only whiskey distillery located in a former prison. Take a tour of the old NC State Prison, learn how whiskey is made, and try their award-winning Sun Dog in their solitary confinement tasting bar.

4. North Carolina Music Hall of Fame
Visit the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame to see exclusive exhibits from Carolina-based artists such as Kelly Pickler and Clay Aiken. 5. zMAX Dragway
zMAX Dragway is the world’s only four-lane, all concrete drag strip. Known as the “Bellagio of Drag Strips,” zMAX hosts National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) events twice a year and is the first drag strip to feature two tunnels underneath it to increase fan mobility.
