The EpiCentre
EpiCentre, named for its location near Charlotte’s heart, is the nightlife scene. Located at 210 E. Trade Street, EpiCentre features restaurants, music, art, theater and clubs including Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s Whiskey River Saloon.  Just a few blocks from Time Warner Arena, enjoy an evening out on the town in Charlotte.

Bechtler Museum of Modern Art
Opened in January 2010, the Bechtler’s collection includes works by the most important and influential artists of the mid-20th century including Miró, Giacometti, Picasso, Calder, Hepworth, Nicholson, Warhol, Tinguely, Ernst, Le Corbusier, Chillida and many others.

Blumenthal Performing Arts Center

Paramount’s Carowinds Water & Theme Park
398-acre amusement park filled with so much fun and excitement it can’t be contained in one state. It features more than 50 rides, shows and attractions, including 13 world-class roller coasters and a 20-acre water park (included with the price of admission). New in 2012 – WindSeeker, a 301-foot-tall swing ride that spins riders 30 stories above the park. Hours vary by season.

The Mint Museum of Art
North Carolina’s first art museum, the Mint Museum, is noted for its collections of American art, Contemporary art, ceramics and Decorative art, historic costume, fashionable dress and accessories as well as an exciting array of major national and international exhibitions and public events.

The Mint Museum of Craft & Design
The Mint Museum Uptown houses the internationally renowned Mint Museum of Craft + Design as well as outstanding collections of American, Contemporary and European art. Designed by Machado and Silvetti Associates of Boston, the five-story, 145,000-square-foot facility combines inspiring architecture with groundbreaking exhibitions to provide visitors with unparalleled educational and cultural experiences. Located in the heart of Charlotte’s burgeoning Uptown, the Mint Museum Uptown is an integral part of the Levine Center for the Arts, a cultural campus that includes the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art, the Harvey B. U.S. National Whitewater Center
The world’s premier outdoor recreation and environmental education center, the park’s centerpiece is a multiple channel, customized whitewater river for rafting and canoe/kayak enthusiasts of all abilities. Other features include mountain biking, running trails, and a challenge course.

Time Warner Cable Arena
Time Warner Cable Arena is home to the NBA’s Charlotte Bobcats, the ECHL’s Charlotte Checkers and is the premier destination for top-rated concerts and events.

NASCAR Hall of Fame
Opened in May 2010 in Uptown Charlotte, the 150,000 square-foot NASCAR Hall of Fame is an interactive entertainment attraction honoring the history and heritage of NASCAR. The high-tech venue, designed to educate and entertain race fans and non-fans alike, includes artifacts, interactive exhibits, a 275-person state-of-the-art theater and a Hall of Honor.

The Billy Graham Library
The Billy Graham Library invites you to encounter highlights of Billy Graham’s extraordinary life, a journey from the pastures and dirt roads of North Carolina to platforms and arenas in the world’s greatest cities. The centerpiece of the Library is A Journey of Faith, a presentation that features multimedia displays and re-creations of historic moments in Billy Graham’s life and ministry spanning the decades from the 1940s to the present. The Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture
Formerly the Afro-American Cultural Center, the center has celebrated the contributions of Africans and African-Americans to American culture for 35 years and serves as a community center for music, dance, theater, visual art, film, arts education programs, literature and community outreach.
