Camp T.N. Spencer Park
This 50-acre park features picnic shelters, a 1.5-mile trail, playground, volleyball court, six cabins, eight tent sites, three fishing ponds, picnic sites, horseshoe pits, restrooms and a bathhouse. The park’s swimming pool is open each year from Memorial Day to Labor Day, and educational opportunities are available each Friday and/or Saturday night for cabin renters and tent campers.
Camp T.N. Spencer Park was dedicated in 2003 as the result of a partnership between Cabarrus County and the Cabarrus Boys and Girls Club. The location operated as a private summer camp since the late 1940s and The Boys and Girls Club summer camp program still operates at the park each summer.
