Harrisburg’s Christmas Tree Lighting
December 6, 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Join us in the NEW Veterans Park, located at Harris Square (the Publix Shopping Center in Harrisburg off Highway 49 and Veterans Bridge) for the official lighting of the Town’s Christmas Tree! Local groups will perform on stage, craft vendors will be on site as well as food, free horse and carriage rides and free visits with Santa!
Festivities begin at 6 p.m. The official lighting of the Town’s tree will take place shortly after 6 p.m. The event will conclude no later than 9 p.m.

Live Nativity Scene: Take a moment to stop by and visit the Live Nativity Scene courtesy of Harrisburg United Methodist Church!
Santa will make a special appearance to help the Town light the tree! Be on the lookout for Santa to arrive around 6pm on a big red truck! Children can line up to visit Santa, free of charge, in the gazebo in Veteran’s Park starting at 6pm until the line is gone!
Craft Vendors: Take a few minutes to stroll through the Craft Village. This is a great opportunity to buy one of a kind, homemade gifts for the holidays!
Horse and Carriage Rides: This year we have five horse and carriages! Rides are free.
