Harrisburg July 4th Celebration

July 3, 4:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Join us at beautiful Harrisburg Park for two days of fun including amusements, food, entertainment and two nights of fireworks! A combination of 23 rides and inflatables will be at this year’s event! Please review the park and walk locations prior to coming. Entry to the event is free. See website for ride cost. This event is held rain or shine. However, if inclement weather arises and entertainment or fireworks must be delayed, information will be posted at: https://www.facebook.com/harrisburgnc/

4pm to 10:00pm: Amusements Open
5pm: Music by: Chunky Daddy
7:30pm: Music by: Band of Oz
9:30pm: Fireworks
10pm: Park Closes

Wednesday, July 4, 2018
9am: Parade on Highway 49
The parade will begin at Captain Steve’s on Highway 49 and travel north down Highway 49 through Harrisburg. The parade will turn right on Harrisburg Veterans Road and end at the intersection of Harrisburg Veterans Road and Stallings Road. Spectators: For safety reasons, please do not stand on the southbound lane of side of Highway 49 to view the parade.
4pm: Harrisburg Park Opens
4pm to 11:00pm – Amusements Open
4:15pm: Mayor’s Invitational Cornhole Tournament (by invitation only)
5pm: Music by: American Bombshells
7pm: Opening Ceremonies: Mayor’s Welcome, National Anthem, and Recognition of the Parade Grand Marshal – the NC Military Hall of Fame
7:30pm: Music by: Bruce in the USA – Bruce Springsteen Tribute Band
9:30pm: Fireworks
11:00pm: Park Closes
