6-week Harmonica Workshop
November 14, 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Cost: $6 - $145
6-week Harmonica Workshop beginning 10/17/17, running through 11/21/17 in Concord, NC – Concord Mills area
All levels welcome, including beginners! This fun, 6-week course will cover the origin and history of the harmonica, its early and modern players, playing basic rhythms (including train rhythms), single-note melody playing, bending techniques, blues riffs and scales, country patterns, and more. Small group size ensures that you will receive lots of individual attention. The goal is to teach you how to play, jam and have fun with the harmonica, with opportunities for everyone to jam at the end of each session.
A 10-hole, diatonic harmonica in the key of C is recommended. You may bring your own harmonica, or purchase one at the workshop at a discounted cost. (The Hohner Special 20 harmonica is an excellent choice.)
Total cost for all 6 weeks is $145
You can register at https://form.jotform.us/72610208984155 and no payment is required at the time of registration.
