August 7, 2018

Craving a little fresh air and vitamin D with your meal? There are plenty of places to eat in Cabarrus County that offer patio seating for those beautiful Carolina days and nights.

For a cluster of alfresco options, visit Afton Village in Kannapolis. The area offers a variety of cuisine, from Italian classics at Afton Pub & Pizza to casual bites in a laid-back atmosphere at Joe’s Sports Bar & Grill. Along with a fireplace on the patio, Afton Tavern has a large menu with something for everyone, and The Wine Room at Afton Village offers the perfect nosh to go with their extensive wine list.

Patio is packed for some trivia

Near Exit 49/Speedway area, Famous Toastery is a homegrown brunch spot that’s not to be missed. Breakfast and lunch are both served until they close at 3pm. At dinnertime, follow the mouth-watering smoky scent to the patio at Jim ‘N Nick’s Bar-B-Q for a true southern spread.

Small but mighty, the patio at Union Street Bistro is situated in the center of Downtown Concord and packed with character. Across the street, Lil Robert’s Place is a funky, local staple serving up pub fare, great beer and live music. Order a snack at the bar and head to the patio out back or snag a front row seat and take in the happenings along Union Street.

Food trucks pair perfectly with a good brew at Cabarrus County craft beer hotspots. Twenty-Six Acres Brewing Company always has something on the calendar, including some awesome outdoor parties. Watch the sunshine fade into twinkle lights on the elevated deck at High Branch Brewing Co. Next door, choose from picnic tables right off the taproom or snag a spot under an umbrella in the beer garden at Cabarrus Brewing Company. Garage doors lead to a comfy patio, or you can take the stairs to reach the deck at Commoners Brewing. With such cool settings, it made be tough to leave these taprooms. But when beautiful weather beckons, these outdoor options are on point.

We had a great time at @26acresbrewing for their Food Truck Friday! Big crowd inside and out, great food and tremendous beer! The best thing about this brewery is its people. Service was second to none from Brad, Emily and Lauren. Excellent conversation with owner Joel Padgett as well. Thanks for the history lessons and other enlightening information. – – – – #beer #craftbeer #concordbeer #concordcraftbeer #concordbrewery #ncbeer #nccraftbeer #ncbrewery #26acresbrewing #breweryevent #beerandmusic #livemusic #foodtruckfriday #beerandfood #drinklocal #localbeer #localcraftbeer #supportlocal #beerwithme #beerwithmeclt #beerwithmecharlotte #beerwithfriends #drinksocial #concord #concordnc #cabarrus #cabarruscounty
