On select days, reservations to meet Caring Santa are available for a calmer, sensory-friendly environment. Do your kids have four legs and fur? December 10th is the day for pet photos with Santa!

Christmas Tree Lightings & Parades – Various Dates, Nov 17-Dec 9
From fireworks and trolley rides at the tree lighting in Concord to a live nativity scene and craft vendors in Harrisburg, these hometown celebrations will get you in the spirit! Experience a slice of small-town America at the Mount Pleasant parade, then watch in wonder as the Kannapolis parade lights up the night. The Icepark at The Speedpark – Nov 17-Jan 15
Chill out after your holiday shopping! Located directly behind Concord Mills, The Speedpark adds over 4,200 square feet of real ice making it the perfect pit stop for ice skating, go karts, mini golf and more. Tickets are just $12 and include skate rental. Speedway Christmas – Nov 19-Dec 31
Kicking off with the Egg Nog Jog 5K fun run on November 18, Speedway Christmas is the region’s most spectacular holiday light show featuring more than 3 million holiday lights-to-music! Drive your car on the track through the 3.75-mile course, then make a pit stop at the Christmas Village for photos with Santa, a petting zoo, Bethlehem village and FOX 46 Movie Nights on the giant Speedway TV every Thursday-Sunday.

A Kannapolis Christmas – Nov 25-Dec 30
One of Our State Magazine’s “25 Quintessential Tar Heel Christmas Experiences.” The Celebration of Lights boasts over 250,000 lights, and guests can ride the Winterland Express train through the park. More fun awaits with performances by the Kannapolis Signing Bears, model train displays and musical performances on select nights.

Snowland at Great Wolf Lodge – Nov 25-Jan 1
Gather the family for a winter wonderland with shimmering lights, holiday trees, and indoor snow showers that melt into the indoor water park’s toasty 84-degrees. Snowland also features a life-size gingerbread house that you can dine in, visits with Santa, and so much more! Really want to pump up the holiday cheer? A Golden Christmas at Reed Gold Mine – Dec 2
A Christmas experience unlike any other! At Reed Gold Mine—site of America’s 1st discovery of gold—tour the underground mine by candlelight during the day. Then enjoy holiday crafts, a Christmas Market and basket weaving, quilting and woodworking demonstrations. Antique and vintage holiday décor will also be on display. Admission is free, and hay rides are just $2.

Christmas Open House at Rocky River Vineyards – Dec 9
Take a break from the holiday hustle and come out to Rocky River Vineyards for live music, food trucks, and wine tastings. This winery is located in the peaceful, Carolina countryside and features award-winning sweet Muscadine wines, Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and others. Don’t forget to stop in the gift shop for the perfect wine-themed presents.

The Barefoot Movement Christmas Show – Dec 16
A holiday celebration for the whole family! The Barefoot Movement was named Band of the Year by the International Bluegrass Music Association. This Nashville based group will perform season favorites inside the Historic Davis Theatre. Make a night of it with dinner reservations at a local restaurant in Downtown Concord!
