Known as the heart of NASCAR country, Cabarrus County is home to an exciting motorsports heritage. Not only was the first official race held here 53 years ago at legendary Charlotte Motor Speedway, but our area has the greatest concentration of NASCAR team headquarters. Full-throttle drag racing at the zMax and dirt track events only enhance the racing experience.
