The Cabarrus CVB Visitor Center features a Legend Car belonging to racing superstar Joey Logano who, at age 17, was the youngest and winningest rookie champion in Busch East history. Logano has been signed by Joe Gibbs racing and will race in the Nationwide Series (formerly Busch Series) in 2008.

Logano will drive the No. 20 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, with associate sponsorship from Joe Gibbs Driven, a licensing program for the automotive aftermarket that features a line of racing lubricants. Primary sponsorship for the car is still being pursued.

At just 15 years of age, Joey Logano was called “the real deal” by respected NASCAR veteran Mark Martin. Now, Logano is a step closer to joining Martin in the elite NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series.
