Times: 9am until noon Location: 518 Winecoff School Road Concord NC Phone: 704-425-5559 Admission: free to all Due to increased demand for local food in our region, the Piedmont Farmers Market will be open on the second and fourth Saturdays in January, February, March and the second Saturday in April. Local farmers and producers will be on hand with fresh seasonal produce, grass fed beef, pastured pork, and free range eggs. Local artisans and crafted food specialists will also be on site.

This group invitational features works by 16 artists and includes painting, sculpture, pottery and drawings.

There will be vendors on site with items for alpaca farms, fiber enthusiasts, general livestock, as well as items such as alpaca wool sweaters, jewelry, specialty coffee, etc. What a great way to get the whole family involved this Presidents' Day weekend.

The event will be held at the Cabarrus Arena and Events Center located at 4751 NC Hwy 49 North in Concord, NC. On display will be over 450 alpacas from several states competing in the showring for ribbons. Exhibitors will be available to answer questions about these beautiful animals imported from South America. Free educational seminars and yarn spinning demonstrations will be available to the public. Vendors will be on hand selling alpaca related items, everything from clothes made of alpaca fleece to books about alpacas.
