Thank you, in advance.
Sharing Cabarrus County with the world is a community effort, and the Cabarrus County Convention & Visitors Bureau always welcomes help from local volunteers.
Volunteers contribute their time and skills at races and sports competitions, community festivals and events, four-legged shows, and association and corporate meetings by helping at registration and proving county information at welcome tables.
Volunteers also help the bureau's day-to-day operations by answering phones and assembling mail packets, preparing gift packages, and counting and stocking promotional materials. Volunteers help keep the CVB running smoothly!

What do CVB volunteers do?
Just as the events the Cabarrus CVB brings to the area vary, so do the assignments of the volunteers. Overall, the majority of the assignments involve "meeting and greeting". Volunteers also provide support help with large volume mailing projects, assembly of convention packets and other projects as needed.
Where do volunteer activities take place?
CVB volunteers provide support for events that the CVB has booked or that take place in the community. The Cabarrus CVB works closely with the Charlotte Motor Speedway, Concord Mills Mall, the Cabarrus County Arena and Events Center and the conference center at the Embassy Suites and at Great Wolf Lodge. You may be asked to work indoors or outdoors depending on the needs of the event. Mailings and special projects are often done at the CVB offices which are located at 10099 Weddington Road, Suite 102 in Concord, NC off of exit 49 on Interstate 85.
How do volunteers find out about upcoming opportunities?
The CVB Volunteer Coordinator will post shifts on the VolunteerBoard as opportunities arise. You will be able to search available shifts, find details on contacts, job description, location and more, and stay up to date on public events in the area.
If you would like more information on how to become a CVB volunteer, please sign up on the VolunteerBoard or contact us with questions at 888-848-3740. You will be added to the volunteer list and notified about upcoming opportunities.
